What to expect?
Join the best experience in the Bacalar Lagoon and discover the magic of its 7 colors aboard our boats. We will visit fascinating places such as the Negro, Esmeralda and Cocalitos cenotes. In the Cenote Esmeralda, you can swim and enjoy its beauty. We will also visit Bird Island, home to migratory birds such as the American stork and the roseate spoonbill flamingo in the April-May seasons.
We will continue towards the Pirates Channel, an enigmatic route that connects with the Bay of Chetumal through the Chac estuary. Here, you can swim and learn part of its history. During the tour, we will see stromatolites, calcareous rocks covered in cyanobacteria that have developed over millions of years. These rocks are vital to the ecosystem, as they regulate the pH of the water and produce oxygen.
It is important to mention that the use of sunscreen is restricted, as it can be harmful to microalgae. All our boats have life jackets, current insurance, nautical tourism permits, Bluetooth music and an awning for your comfort. Come and enjoy this unique experience in Bacalar Lagoon!
